Shroud Stalker — Enshrouded's Roaming Fell Stalker (weak to Pierce, Fire & Ice)
How to beat the Shroud Stalker in Enshrouded: a fast Fell elite found across six regions, weak to Pierce, Fire and Ice, and immune to Shroud.
Editor’s note: This page is written for 1.0 (October 15, 2026) from the community wiki (enshrouded.wiki.gg). Faction, regions, damage profile and attacks are confirmed. HP and drop rates are marked not yet independently verified — verify against the official patch notes. Last verified: 2026-10-29.
Media note: Boss screenshots and a fight video are pending dedicated 1.0 capture from Keen’s official footage. The text strategy below is complete.
The Shroud Stalker is a Fell enemy with a sleek, cone-shaped body and five tendril-like legs. It is one of the faster roaming elites in the game and shows up in six different regions, so you will meet it repeatedly as you progress. It is defined by a clear damage profile: weak to Pierce, Fire and Ice, resistant to Cut and Blunt, and immune to Shroud.
Where to find the Shroud Stalker
It is first found in the Nomad Highlands, then reappears across the Kindlewastes, Albaneve Summits, Veilwater Basin, Revelwood, and Cinder’s Cradle. Because it roams, there is no single arena — treat any open Fell territory in those zones as a possible spawn. See the regional guides (Nomad Highlands, Kindlewastes, Albaneve Summits) for landmark context.
Before you fight
- It closes distance fast. At mid-to-long range it rears back and launches itself at you. Be ready to dodge or fire while it travels.
- Melee has a tell. In close, it lashes out with a single tendril — sidestep the slap.
Damage taken

| Cut | 0.8× |
| Pierce | 1.2× |

| Fire | 1.2× |

How to beat the Shroud Stalker
Dodge the Lunging Tackle
For any player at mid-to-long range, the Stalker rears back and launches itself forward to body-slam. Dodge sideways or fire during the charge — do not back straight up, or you eat the tackle.
Punish with Tendril Slap openings
When it reaches melee it lashes out with a single tendril. After the slap it is briefly committed — that is your window for a Pierce/Fire/Ice burst.
Use the right damage type
Because it is immune to Shroud, any Shroud weapon or spell is wasted. Pierce, Fire and Ice are all equally strong (1.2×), so pick whichever your build already supports.
Recommended loadout
Lean into Pierce, Fire or Ice — all three are amplified. A ranged option (bow, wand, or spell) lets you trade during the Lunging Tackle instead of getting body-slammed. Bring a Flame Altar safe zone if you are farming it in the open. See the Comfort system guide for Stamina management.
