Enshrouded Warrior Build - The Safe All-Round Melee Start
The Enshrouded Warrior build: all melee weapons, more health, and faster attacks - the safe all-round front-line choice, with stats, first picks
This is the Warrior path deep-dive. Enshrouded has no fixed classes - the 12 paths in the Forging the Path tree are a navigation aid, not a lock - so the Warrior build means allocating along the Warrior path until your build becomes Warrior-like.
Below: the stat to invest, the first skill picks, the weapon and armor that fit, and where this path lands in a group. Exact skill names and point costs are marked not yet independently verified.
What the Warrior path is
All melee weapons, more health, and faster attacks. The Warrior is the safe, all-round start - every melee weapon works, and the extra health and attack speed keep you in the fight longer than a burst build. Pair with Power Parry for the counter-attack windows and Merciless Attack to finish staggered enemies.
Stats to invest
Strength for melee damage, with Constitution as the durability floor. You are in the fight, so a health floor that survives one counter is what matters.
First skill picks
| Skill | Why |
|---|---|
| Double Jump / Blink / Updraft | Center-hub picks that help every build - escape, repositioning, and reach |
| Power Parry | More stun-bar fill on successful parries - the Warrior’s counter window |
| Merciless Attack | Crushing damage to overpowered (staggered) enemies |
1.0 check (launch day): exact point costs and upgrade tiers for the Warrior path are not published in the patch notes, so the values stay pending in-game verification. One launch-day caveat for returners: loading a pre-1.0 save resets the whole skill tree, so budget your re-invest around the new 12-path layout.
Weapon and armor
One-handed or any melee - the Warrior uses every melee weapon type. The best weapons guide has the full weapon-type breakdown.
Body and head for the core defense, hands for melee mitigation. The best armor guide has the full armor-role breakdown.
In a group
The front line: a reliable melee DPS that can also absorb a hit. In a group, this is the safe damage slot - pair it with a ranged or magic DPS for range coverage.
The co-op team planner maps where this path fits for team sizes 1-8.
