Enshrouded Hotfix 1.0.0.3 (build 1273043): Early Access reward fix, crash fixes, and robust save migration for odd states.

Hotfix 1.0.0.3 (build 1273043) is the third patch after the Enshrouded 1.0 launch. It is a stability and migration pass — no new content. Full official change log below.

What’s fixed

  • Early Access rewards — some users who were missing Early Access rewards can now redeem them correctly in the game’s pause menu.
  • Water simulation — fixed several crashes connected to the water simulation.
  • Leaving the game — fixed several crashes that could occur when leaving the game.
  • Random crashes — fixed several randomly occurring crashes.
  • Factories — fixed a crash when interacting with factories.
  • Recipe unlock — fixed a crash that could occur when unlocking new recipes while a filter was active on the recipe list.
  • Save migration (backpack slots) — fixed a rare crash during save-data migration for characters with invalid entries in the additional backpack slots; those characters now migrate correctly, dropping only the items that previously halted the process.
  • Save migration (Flame Altar) — improved migration for cases where the Flame Altar was not placed in the voxel grid for unknown reasons. The migration now corrects the Altar’s position within the grid. In these cases the affected base’s water can’t be reloaded and must be re-added as needed.
  • Large bases — fixed an issue that caused some light flickering in very large player bases.
  • Multiplayer loading — fixed an issue that caused an endless black screen for some players when trying to load a multiplayer game.
  • Performance — improved a stuttering issue when using V-Sync on AMD graphics cards.

How this affects your build

This is another stability patch. If you previously hit an endless black screen loading a multiplayer world, or saw flickering in a huge base, both are addressed. The Flame Altar migration fix may reposition an Altar that was saved outside the grid — note that water placed in those affected bases will need to be re-added manually.
