Patch 1.0.1.0 (build 1283531), also called Patch #1, is the first content-and-balance patch after the Enshrouded 1.0 launch on October 15, 2026. It is a boss-balance and quality-of-life pass rather than a content drop. Full official change log below.

Bosses & combat

  • Boss engagement — bosses now stay engaged in combat longer after being attacked, and even when players are far away. Previously, ranged fights against bosses such as the Fell Monstrosity could be frustrating when the boss suddenly started to recover health even while being shot at.
  • Wispwyvern & undead counterpart — fixed an issue where they couldn’t be targeted correctly by totem spells and other summons; also fixed visuals on their artillery attacks.
  • Dragon Youngling — fixed a state where it was defeated but did not trigger the correct dead state.
  • Boss music — fixed that boss music could stop while the fight was still ongoing.
  • Ancient S.P.D.R. Constructs — can now be lured less easily into a spot where they forget how to move or how to attack.
  • Shielded Ancient Construct — now has phases where the shield is on cooldown.
  • Vukah Brawler — fixed an issue that could spawn it inside a cave wall.
  • Cyclops-adjacent enemies — made it easier to target enemies next to Cyclopses.
  • Scavenger Bully — fixed its retaliation attack showing “Not effective” when hitting the player.
  • Vultures — improved combat behavior.
  • Snapjaws — fixed a visual issue for the tar spit.
  • Fell Shackled Banshee — fixed the visuals when it was defeated.
  • Fell Vines — projectiles now hit props and terrain as intended.

Enemies & world

  • Fell Vinebloom — reduced the poison damage from its area attack.
  • Scavenger proximity mines — reduced the explosion radius.
  • Fell loot — reduced the cases of Fell enemies that have no loot. Another fix for this is planned for the next update.
  • Elite flying critters — now give more XP when defeated.
  • Kindlewaste Hollow Hall — reduced the number of flying critters in one location.
  • Fell mini critters — reduced the size of the combat collider; previously they could block arrows when shooting enemies behind them.
  • Enemy levels — fixed several cases where enemy level didn’t fit the level of the region.
  • Mysterious wanderer — fixed timing issues with its appearances.
  • Sprint — can now be set to toggle (in addition to hold).

Quality of life & multiplayer

  • Voice chat — while open microphone is enabled, the microphone can now be muted or unmuted via a toggle keybinding.
  • Long sessions — fixed that skills and attacks could stop working correctly after playing for several hours.
  • Large bases — improved stability in multiplayer when hosting a world with very large player bases.

Stability & PC-specific

  • Fixed a crash related to outdated position information for tombstones, a few randomly occurring crashes, a potential crash when closing the game, and several localization issues.
  • PC-specific: fixed save-data migration errors (retry the migration if it failed before); increased the memory budget for migrations with too many player bases; fixed the 3D resolution scale slider showing 100% after a reset despite a lower detected-card default; fixed an evade keybinding issue with [RMB]+[SPACE]; fixed [ESC] stop working after the AMD overlay; and added new graphical settings for AMD graphics cards.

How this affects your build

The headline is boss reliability: ranged bosses no longer cheekily regen while you kite them, and several boss targeting/death-state bugs are gone. The only numeric balance changes that touch your damage math are Fell Vinebloom poison (reduced) and Scavenger proximity-mine radius (reduced) — relevant if you fight those enemies. The sprint-toggle and voice-chat mute key are pure convenience wins.
