Enshrouded Athlete Build - Speed, Jump Attacks, and Stamina Recovery

The Enshrouded Athlete build: physical speed, jump attacks, and quicker stamina recovery - the movement and reach build, with stats and first picks.

This is the Athlete path deep-dive. Enshrouded has no fixed classes - the 12 paths in the Forging the Path tree are a navigation aid, not a lock - so the Athlete build means allocating along the Athlete path until your build becomes Athlete-like.

Below: the stat to invest, the first skill picks, the weapon and armor that fit, and where this path lands in a group. Exact skill names and point costs are marked not yet independently verified.

What the Athlete path is

Physical combat speed, jump attacks, and quicker stamina recovery. The Athlete is the movement build - it repositions constantly and reaches things the rest of the group cannot. The weapon is secondary here; the build is the movement.

Stats to invest

Endurance for the stamina pool. The Athlete draws and sprints constantly, so the stamina pool is what lets it keep moving.

First skill picks

Skill Why
Double Jump / Updraft / Blink The whole build - escape, repositioning, and reach lean on these more than any other path
Jump attacks Damage from movement - the Athlete’s signature

1.0 check (launch day): exact point costs and upgrade tiers for the Athlete path are not published in the patch notes, so the values stay pending in-game verification. One launch-day caveat for returners: loading a pre-1.0 save resets the whole skill tree, so budget your re-invest around the new 12-path layout.

Weapon and armor

Whatever weapon your damage path uses - the Athlete’s build is movement, not a specific weapon. See the best weapons guide.

Legs and the glider - dodge, stamina, and the glider are what keep you moving. See the best armor guide.

In a group

The support/mobility slot. Updraft and Double Jump let the squad cross terrain the rest cannot. In 6+ person squads, reserve one slot for this.

The co-op team planner maps where this path fits for team sizes 1-8.
