Enshrouded Veilwater Basin - Endgame Tropical Guide & Coastline Bases

Veilwater Basin is Enshrouded's endgame tropical region (levels 35-45, Flame 8-9). How to use the coastline and build the endgame base.

Veilwater Basin is the end of the line and, for most players, the place they stop leaving. It is Enshrouded’s endgame tropical region - added in November 2025 and, before 1.0 added Cinder’s Cradle, it was where the world stopped introducing new threats and started offering its best content. The coast, the lagoon, and the 35-45 level band all point to one thing: this is the region you build your final, showcase base.

Where Veilwater Basin fits

Fact Value
Level range 35-45 (the cap)
Flame level 8-9
Role Endgame tropical region
Added November 2025 (the newest biome)
Shroud pressure High - but you are built for it by now
Endgame focus Final camp, level cap, endgame content

1.0 check (launch day): the patch notes do not publish the Veilwater endgame gate. Related 1.0 changes here: the Veilwater Hollow Hall ships (diving goggles required) and the Albaneve boss arena was widened with grapple anchors.

What the endgame coast offers

  • The coastline is a feature, not a hazard. Unlike the earlier regions, the water edge here is an asset - docks, fishing, and the lagoon all reward you for building out onto it rather than away from it.
  • Elevate for the tide line. Keep your Flame Altar and the critical stations high enough to clear the tide line, and use the palm-framed shoreline for the showcase value that makes this your final home.
  • This is the level-cap region. The 35-45 band is where you push to the level cap and the Flame cap, so plan your camp to be the one you live in - it should be the most complete base you have built.

What endgame means here

Veilwater Basin is not just the last region on the map - it is the place the whole six-biome world funnels into. You arrive here with every skill the earlier regions taught you, and the region rewards you by giving you room to build, fish, and settle rather than survive. The base you put on this shore is the one players will look at when they ask what an Enshrouded base can become.

For a base layout that fits the endgame coast, see the base design gallery and filter by the Veilwater Basin biome. For the full picture of what 1.0 changes across all seven biomes, see the 1.0 release overview.
