FAQ

Where is the Scavenger Matron found?
In Springlands, Revelwood, Nomad Highlands, and Kindlewastes. Your first encounter is in Springlands, so head there first and follow the biome landmark for the arena.
What Flame level do I need to fight her?
Flame 3. She is the early-game gate boss.
What are her variants?
Three: the Standard, the Gorger (weak to fire), and the Grizzler (weak to blunt). Her weakness changes by variant, so check which one you are facing.
Why should I kill her early?
Her head trophy unlocks Flame 3 and a grapple-hook upgrade, so you want it as fast as possible. HP and drop rates are marked verify at 1.0.

Phase 1 — Single sustained phase (no confirmed phase split in early access). The variant you face sets the weak point: the Standard is a balanced melee, the Gorger is weak to fire, and the Grizzler is weak to blunt. Her reliable window is the post-stun state; Shroud projectiles are what to avoid throughout.
