Enshrouded Albaneve Summits - Guide, Frozen Peaks & Late-Game Stronghold
Albaneve Summits is Enshrouded's late-game frozen mountains (levels 30-40, Flame 6-8). How to build a compact wind-sheltered base in the cold.
The Albaneve Summits are the late-game test of structure. After the Kindlewastes, the cold takes over from the heat as the environmental threat: the wind chills you, the peaks are open and exposed, and the Shroud that has been a constant companion is at its most dangerous. This is where a sloppy camp stops being inconvenient and starts being lethal - and where your base design has to be a stronghold, not a camp.

Where the Albaneve Summits fit
| Fact | Value |
|---|---|
| Level range | 30-40 |
| Flame level | 6-8 |
| Role | Late-game frozen mountains |
| Core hazards | Cold and wind (environmental) + peak Shroud pressure |
| Shroud pressure | Very high - open peaks, no cover |
| Exits to | Veilwater Basin |
1.0 check (launch day): the patch notes do not publish biome Flame gates, so the early-access band stands pending in-game verification. What did change at 1.0: the world is fully open, Cinder’s Cradle adds a seventh region, and most former no-build zones are now buildable.

What the cold and wind demand
- Build compact and wind-sheltered. A tight, walled footprint keeps your safe zone efficient and your camp survivable - the open peaks will not let a sprawling base work.
- Reinforce the anchor points. Ice-anchored walls and a reinforced Flame Altar are what keep the camp from being torn apart by the wind. Every structure that is exposed is a structure that will cost you.
- Stockpile early. The frozen summit is where you need the most in reserve - the cold means you cannot reliably forage on demand the way you could in the warmer regions.
Bosses in Albaneve Summits
The frozen peaks are the endgame boss region.
| Boss | Flame | Core mechanic (verified) |
|---|---|---|
| Fell Cyclops | 7 | Elixir Well; laser eye, weak to fire and poison, no elemental resistance |
| Fell Dragon Youngling | 8 | Current “final boss”; stun-gated, reflects rock projectiles — confirmed 1.0 rework |
| Cyclops | low | Early caves; easiest boss, long-telegraphed stomp |
| Hollow Cyclops | dungeon | Guardian of the Albaneve Hollow Hall |
The full per-region boss breakdown is in the bosses & dungeons hub, and the three factions that make up this region — Fell, Cyclops, and Hollow — have their own faction guides.

Getting to the Veilwater Basin
With the peaks cleared and a stronghold that holds against the cold and the wind, the final region is the Veilwater Basin (levels 35-45, Flame 8-9), the endgame tropical coast. The Albaneve Summits are the last “harsh” region - after them, the endgame shifts from surviving the environment to dominating it.
